Karl Andrews is the Chief Executive Officer of the South Link Education Trust and its subsidiary organisations South Link Health, BPAC Clinical Solutions, BPACnz and the New Zealand Medicines Formulary.  He brings extensive executive leadership experience across primary care, health technology, and organisational management. He has a strong understanding of the financial, clinical, and digital challenges facing New Zealand's primary healthcare sector.

Before becoming Chief Executive, Karl served as Chief Financial Officer, providing strategic leadership across finance, governance, and business operations. His earlier career included senior finance and project leadership roles in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, spanning financial services, construction and professional services.

As a Director of thePHO, Karl brings commercial acumen, strategic leadership and experience leading complex health organisations. His expertise supports the Board in building a sustainable, digitally enabled organisation that strengthens general practice and delivers value for patients and providers.
